This is what Carson did to my phone last week. It’s all better now. I was actually going to keep it broken, I thought it looked cool. But pieces of glass kept coming off in my hand. So, thanks to etechparts.com I have a new back on my phone. Yeah! In the past 6 months, I have replace both the front and back of my phone. Both thanks to Carson. What a kid.

So, what happens when Dell stops making parts for your computer?
You improvise.

I have a weakness for webcams. Well, surveillance cameras, really. I have, at one point or another, had as many as five webcams streaming live to a secured server in our house. That said…
I found that B&H in New York, an electronics and production equipment super store, had an iPhone app. Well, short story, I found a great camera for a great price. I didn’t know I needed it until I saw it.
So, now we have this wireless network camera with pan & tilt action and Infrared sensors for night time in our house. I’ve had it in the baby’s room so we could watch her sleep, I’ve had downstairs to surveil the house… Tonight, I tried to hide it in the boys room, to no avail (see picture). It is useful when we’re gone. I can pull the cameras up from my phone or computer to watch and hear what’s going on. While on vacation I get emails with photos attached whenever motion is detected. Pretty handy.
So, this is my hobby… Spying on my house. Just be careful if you visit… I’ll be watching.

Parker wasn’t too sure about it on Monday, but by Friday he wanted more. Thanks to all the great volenteers and to the lousy ones, as well.
Kayce wanted me to ammend my statement… There were no lousy teachers at VBS…

I lay down for my Sunday afternoon nap and am awakened to this. Ugh.

A couple of samples from the catalog of Parker’s artwork.  He has quite a large body of work. We go through A LOT of paper in our house.

Molly had her first bottle. The results of which can be seen below… Also, thanks to our nursery glider, which FINALLY arrived, we have a nice place to rock her. Most importantly, Kayce has a rocker where her feet actually touch the ground. It rounded out Molly’s room quiet nicely.
