Parker was doing very well with the potty training… Until the last few days. He started having more and more accidents, and now just wants to wear a diaper. So, we may have cursed ourselves, by saying how easy it was. He picked it up so fast, then, for lack of a better word, pooped out. Oh well… such is the way of things. So, we are trying to figure out how to get him back to the potty again, any suggestions would be much appreciated. Other than that… Not much going on here at the Susong Ranch. We have another dead tree… I’m trying to get the power company to cut that one down for free. We’ll see what happens.
This just in… Parker has been using the potty today, hurray! So maybe we aren’t horrible parent’s after all. Hazah!!

Potty Training and Pavers
For those who haven’t heard the big news in the Susong house… Parker is potty training!! WOO HOO. It is acutally going really well, and it looks like he is going to catch on really quickly. We had to bribe him by letting him pick his own potty chair (I had hoped we could skip the potty chair, but no luck…), of course being my son; He picked the most expensive chair. It has sound effects, infared lights that detect, um, action… But it seems to done the job. He’s doing really well at it.Â
On a seperate front, I have the ground around our patio all torn up. I was pulling some vine-like things that were going and I hit something hard with the shovel.  I was hoping it was the enterance to a treasure room like in National Treasure, but no luck… It was instead about 10 or 12 square concrete pavers that had appearantly been set and then neglected. They were covered with and inch or so of dirt, and have these vines (which turned out to be Wintergreeen Littleleaf Korean Buxus) growing all over them. I’m in the process of removing them all right now, so we can sow some grass. Fun times… You just never know what you will dig up in the yard of a 50 year old home. Good times…

I wish we didn’t have one at alll, though… I hope eveyone has a great Friday, and a good weekend. I will be working in the yard or behind a sound board most of it. Fun for all!

Still working…
Still just sitting here at work. I am trying to finish up some video stuff so I don’t have to stay late tomorrow, especially since I am working a party on Saturday. Video workboa so boring sometimes, when you have to wait for the video to encode, or DVD to burn, it is just alot of sitting around. Oh, well, it beats mowing the yard, which I am about to have to go home and do… Fun times…

I saw this sign last night as I was going into Walgreen’s to get some batteries. It made me laugh, so I thought you all might like it as well. Somehow, buyer be ware, takes on whole new meaning when you enter the “Harmacy”. We are heading to my parent’s for a few days to celebrate Independance Day. Speaking of… Take a look at my DTP Portfolio to see the add I just finished. It will be on the Back page of the Leaf Chronicles Go section this Friday, in full color! I have alot of fun doing those ads. Anyway. It is under the About>Portfolio>DTP section (DTP=Desktop Publishing). Well, I had better get back to work, so I can get home on time, and pack up for the trip. Oh, Carson has his 6-7 month doctor visit today. I’m sure he will be in the weight category for a 9 month old. He’s a big’n. Have a happy 4th! -
Vacation 2008
Hey, just got back from vacation. We had a great time in New Smyrna Beach, FL. Kayce whole family goes down together. It is always fun, and very interesting. Parker got sick for a few days, so that kinda messed up his fun time. But he recovered and had a good last couple of days. We are glad to be back at home. Both the boys did a great job on the drive there and back. Not nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be. I got to go deep sea fishing. Didn’t catch anything, but we had been talking about going for two years, and finally went. It was just Joe and me, and he caught a baracuda, I caught a couple of small ones, nothing to keep, though. Oh well, still fun. We took alot of pictures, you can check them out on the pictures page. I also have some video, that will be up soon. Check back.
