  • It’s Finally Here!!!

carson1month.jpgAfter two months of waiting… Carson’s birth video is finally here.  check it out on the videos page.  I’m sure I could find a thousand things I would like to change, or could improve upon, but there comes a time in any creation process where you just have to say “it’s done”.  That moment came for me at 2:00am.  I hope you enjoy the video.  Oh, here is Carson’s 1 Month pictures.  We are going next weekend to get Parker’s 3 year, and Carson’s 2 month pictures taken, and some pictures of them together.  Now that I’m getting caught up, I should have those pictures up pretty fast.

    Have a great week everyone!

  • It’s Friday!!!!!!!

Well, it’s Friday.  I would say finally, but it hasn’t been rough week at all.  The guys working on our roof finished this week.  So now we have a new roof, soffet, gutters, leaf guard, etc…  It looks supper good!  I’m excited.  Pretty sad that I get excited over a new roof and gutters.  Anyway…  I just added a new video, Parker and Isaac’s Preschool Christmas Program.  I AM still working on Carson’s birth video.  It takes awhile to get the creative juices flowing.  I have to improve upon my last video, and that’s pretty hard.  I’m going to try, though.  I just signed up on Facebook.com.  It is interesting…  I haven’t had anyone find me yet, or at least no one has added me a friend.  Oh well…

Here is a video I did as a promo for Middle School Camp.  Josh, the Middle School Minister wanted it to look like the NBA commercials, “Where Amazing Happens”.  I think it turned out really well.  It was fun.  I say this alot, but the more I work here, the more I am convienced that I have the best job in the world.Â

  • Fire!!! YEAH!!!!!

woodstove.jpgWell, it finally happened…  It got cold enough that we could fire (pun-intended) up the wood stove!!! WOO HOO!  Despite the fact I have a huge pile of wood outside, it just hasn’t been cold enough to have a fire going.  It does cost quite a bit less…  We can heat pretty much the whole house with that stove, since it is basically at the foot of the stairs and since heat rises, well you get the picture.  Our roof is just about done.  They finished re-roofing, have most of the vinyl work around the soffet done, and will finish the gutters and leaf guard on the Monday.  It looks super good.  I’m excited, well, as excited as you can get over a roof.  The down side is that the satetilite dish had to come down to work on the soffet.  So, we have no TV until they can come put it back up.  I’ve debated waiting for CDE to get their Fiber Optic Network finished.  We should be connected in March or May, can’t remember.  I’m excited about that… 10Mbps, fast internet, and TV, with phone service coming later.  I think we are going to cancel our house phone and hook Kayce up with a data package like I have so we can both send e-mail from our phones.  Who needs house phones anymore, we aren’t here that much anyway…

Oh, the big news of the day (aside for the fire), was Parker and Carson seeing their first movie in the theatre!  Truthfully, Carson was asleep for most of it.  We saw “The Pirates Who Don’t Do Anything”, the Veggie Tales movie.  Parker really liked it, but after an hour or so, he kept asking if we could go somewhere else…  He didn’t want to leave, just go somewhere else.  It was pretty funny, Parker wouldn’t sit down, he told us before we left that he didn’t like those chairs and wanted to stand up and watch the movie.  He did.  I tried to get him to sit in my lap, but for most of the movie he stood.  Funny kid.  That was pretty much the Susong’s Day.  I hope everyone else had a great one too!!!

    One of those days… HA!

  • Happy New Year!

parkercarson.jpgI know it is kind of late for that, but I’m alittle behind.  The Susongs have had a busy last few weeks, as have most people.  We have been getting to know the newest member of our family.  Carson is getting bigger every day, not that he was small to begin with.  We have discovered that he is a very easy child, most of the time.  Well compared to how Parker was for the first six months, any child would be easy, I guess.  Parker really likes being a big brother, most of the time.  I’m sure if Carson could talk, he would say the same about being a baby brother.  Sometime Parker can “love” Baby Carson alittle too much.  But they get along pretty good for brothers.  I’ve been back at work for 4 day this year so far.  Not too busy so far, but it is bound to pick up.  Easter is right around the corner.  And we have plenty of camps, and events to get ready for.  Never a dull moment at FBC!  Kayce goes back to work next week, and her mom will be watching the boys again.  It is going to interesting getting two boys ready to roll in the mornings…  Good thing I’ll be asleep!  HA!  I hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas, and I pray you have a Happy New Year!
